  On Wednesday, August 8th, Big City Catering  and RW Events hosted the annual networking event where industry professionals came to eat, drink, and socialize. After weeks of prep, hours of setting up, and then decorating at a record pace to make the Cypress Grove Estate House presentable for the 300+ guests expected to attend our annual networking event, we successfully made a chic, beautiful and exciting presentation.
 
Before the guests arrived it seemed as if old Mother Nature and her pesky thunderstorms would sabotage the party. Luckily, it was a just quick shower and the night was able to continue without a hitch! The amazing lighting from the twilight sky made for some perfect photographs and stylish video from Brandy and Beau Photographyand Imprint Cinema!
 
As the guests arrived they were welcomed at the front door of the beautiful Cypress Grove Estate House by our wonderful team and the sounds of the Paint it Black Quartet. From there they could roam the Estate House admiring the décor provided by Windermere Flowers and Weddings by 2+Hue. Within the house was a vintage photo booth, from Victoria Angela, with dozens of fun props that made for exciting and zany pictures! On the other side of the house were our desert specialists, The Sugar Suite, Cut the Cake, Sweet Maralyn’s Chocolate, PrivateIsland Ice Cream, and Orlando Bakery ‘N’ Cakes who provided unique flavors and treats.
 
Outside of the Estate House the party continued with vintage inspired furniture and vignettes from Chic Event Furniture Rental, Weddings by 2+Hue and Raining Roses sprinkled across the lawn and gazebo.  Swag Décoralso added their special touch to our elegant backyard ambiance.
 
When they became hungry (which they did!) guests ventured inside the air-conditioned, clear top tent from Kirby Rentals, where the various food stations were displayed. Guests could grab a plate, relax, and sit down at one of the beautifully decorated tables by Greenery Productions.  Meanwhile, DJ Carl played great party music and provided his own hilarious commentary on the night’s festivities to keep the guests active as the night went on.
 
Also, a big thank you to Cliff Weir (Your Wedding Makeup) for glamming up our ladies for this fabulous affair and to Taps From Scratch for providing their chilled keg featuring their signature Blonde Ale. 
 
We had a wonderful time at the event, and appreciate everyone that attended and helped make it another successful year for us.
