Florida Tomato Month

April is National Florida Tomato Month. To us, nothing screams summer or spring like a fresh juicy tomato. They are so delicious to eat on their own, chopped up as salsa, or stuffed into your favorite sandwich. Not only are Florida tomatoes bursting with flavor, but they are also rich in antioxidants and vitamins  Feel good about whichever way you choose to enjoy them (sliced, diced, canned, sautéed); they don’t lose any of their nutrients in high heat!  Tomatoes are very versatile and go well with so many different foods. This makes it easy to sneak some extra nutrients into your favorite dishes.
