Last Monday Night, Big City Catering catered a seated corporate dinner event at the north and south hangers at the very cool venue of Fantasy of Flight from 6:30-9:30PM.
The event was for Jones Lang LaSalle, and seated 175 guests who were greeted with wine and hors d’oeuvres when they got off their provided transportation at the north hanger of the fantasy of flight museum. Once they had their fill of wine, it was time to move to the south hanger where the main dinner reception was set up! The guests were entertained by live music, bars, and some gambling!
6:30-7:15 Cocktail Reception-
Butler passed red and white wine with bar service for other drinks.
Butler Passed hors d’oeuvres-
-Sundried Tomatoes with Basil Creme Fraiche.
-Tequila Lime Pulled Pork served on crisp friend plantain with Mango Chipotle Salsa.
-Beef Chimichurri Skewers marinated in garlic and cilantro and served with chimichurri vinaigrette.
-Pan Fried Crab Cakes with Caper Remoulade.
7:30-9:30 Reception Dinner
-baby greens with hearts of palm, pear tomatoes, walnuts and bleu cheese crumbles and shallot vinaigrette dressing on tables
-Medallions of Beef &Grouper
-Bordelaise and leek sauce with crescent potatoes
-Yeast rolls and whipped butter on tables
-Key Lime Pie, freshly baked with a crunchy graham cracker crust lightly topped with chipped cream.
